Festen director Vinterberg storms back to form in this powerful, well-paced drama about a kindergarten teacher, Lucas (Mads Mikkelsen), wrongfully accused of child abuse. He is getting over a difficult divorce, rebuilding his life, and popular with children and staff in a close-knit community in Sweden. But things go horribly wrong when a little girl with a vivid imagination tells a little white lie.
