The new season’s schedule
We now have the dates for the 16 films agreed with Chelmsford Theatres, and have confirmed with the distributors which film will be shown on which date. The new programme is in the process of being printed and will be published as soon as possible and will be sent out before the first film. Meanwhile I will be working to add content on the website for each of the selected films.
The programme for the season is:

- Tuesday 27th November – Loving Vincent (Poland/UK, dirs. Dorota Kobiela, Hugh Welchman, 2017)
- Monday 3rd December – The Square (Sweden, dir. Ruben Östlund, 2017)
- Tuesday 29th January – L’Amant Double (France, dir. François Ozon, 2017)
- Tuesday 12th February – The Beguiled (USA, dir. Sofia Coppola, 2017)
- Tuesday 26th February – Loveless (Russia, dir. Andrey Zvyagintsev, 2017)
- Tuesday 5th March – The Breadwinner (Ireland, dir. Nora Twomey, 2017)
- Tuesday 26th March – The Nun (France, dir. Jacques Rivette, 1966
- Tuesday 9th April – I Am Not A Witch (UK, dir. Rungano Nyoni, 2017)
- Tuesday 23rd April – Under The Tree (Iceland, dir. Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurðsson, 2017)
- Tuesday 7th May – Phantom Thread (USA/UK, dir. Paul Thomas Anderson, 2017)
- Tuesday 21st May – Jeune Femme (France, dir. Léonor Serraille, 2017)
- Tuesday 4th June – Summer 1993 (Spain, dir. Carla Simón, 2017)
One thing you will notice is that this coming season almost all the films are being shown on a Tuesday (except a few in the first half of the season, which are on Mondays).
Our last presentation ‘The Salesman’
There were 18 Audience Reaction slips returned after the showing of this film the breakdown from these slips were as follows:

- ‘Satisfactory’: 1 vote
