This understated film manages to combine such diverse themes as growing old, a dreadful crime, Alzheimers, self-discovery and poetry classes into something immensely
profound, mysterious and beautiful. Set in a small town, with an amazing central performance by Yun Jung-hee, an acclaimed Korean actress, as an elderly woman facing ugly truths and seeking her own voice, this is an insightful and observant story. A unique film of immense depth.
