- Excellent follow up to Rohrwacher’s previous offering, ‘Happy As Lazarro’. Similar bunch of ne’er-do-wells and similar mix of fantasy with gritty realism.
- Like no other film I have seen. Not absorbed it all yet but utterly absorbing. Truly wonderful.
- Hugely entertaining. The Greek chorus came to mind – the characters were gripping!
- Very Italian – a fable, a myth, criminals & heroes; what more to want.
Rossellini, as ever, takes the film.
